Antonia has posted on Tripadvisor:

”We conducted a stay the last days of October with the IMSERSO program at this hotel. The room (two beds of 150 cm. With sofa bed, bathroom a bit small compared to the size of the room has a fridge, cozy decor in public areas. We have found it very good. There were no differences from any type at all among the guests. We found the restaurant very good with very diverse and abundant food and no queues. Cleaning was also daily change of towels and bed linen twice. It was reopened in June as stated on a plaque at the entrance, so the painting and conservation status was pretty good. The bar drinks are priced right. It is located at the end of Levente beach in Rincon de Loix near the beach, shops and buses, to approximately 2 km from the city. It has the disadvantage of the lot, not in the area and there is very small. I rented a place in a private carpark at a price of 10 euros daily. Poser also has access, a hill with a steep as that age is difficult. There is no noise except for the hotel itself. I’ve seen no terrace. Friendly and efficient staff. No complaints. Animation I found very dedicated to children with a different show every night except Sunday, there wasn’t one. Many British people. I have found a hotel dedicated to families with children more than people IMSERSO, but we left happy. I recommend this hotel.’’

Reception on floor -2

Our magic Amigo Steve let a publication on Tripadvisor :

after a 6 hour flight delay at Gatwick we arrived at the airport glad to find the transport arranged was waiting for ourselves and others. We were the last off the coach and the driver left us by the back entrance at 2.30 am. after locating a lift as the hotel was in semi darkness we tried to check in but had no idea where the main reception was, which was not signposted from the ‘2nd reception’, after about half hour I discovered it on floor -2, the man at the desk said he only worked 1 night a week and our room had not been saved.
It’s now gone 3am and after a long tiring day was not good news, he said we could stay in 2 rooms for that night and be given a bigger room when day staff arrived. We went to the first room and just slept in there as other room was 2 floors away, it took until 4pm before I was given keys to the larger room. Now for the hotel.
The pool at the hotel is small for such a large place but an area is dedicated to young children and there are some water slides in a separate part. the food was buffet style, plentiful, varied and adequate with enough choice for anybody. There was a bar for the English and the other bar for Spanish although anyone could go in either. A short hill would lead to the beach and promenade, Benidorm was cheap and lively, all I expected apart from one thing, the sea was full of rocks and boulders which made for most unpleasant swimming.

Thank you Steve!

MAGIC AQUA EXPERIENCE THIS SUMMER AT THE MAGIC ROCK GARDENS

Hola Amig@s

As you all know the Magic Rock Gardens is closed this winter for refurbishment, following the success of the MAGIC AQUA EXPERIENCE at Magic Excalibur and Magic Monika Holiday this year the Magic Rock Gardens gets its own Magic Aqua Experience: AFRICAN EMOTION with water slides and chutes in the pool and splash area.

We’re adding another restaurant and bar, you’ll be spoilt for choice!!

And the rooms… wait till you see them; the decoration incorporates the African theme as well with an ethnic “PASION AFRICANA”

And last but not least for the children a new mini club, with Wii, video games and even cine.

We’ll be waiting for you this summer!

Great rooms and the staff very attentive, definitive luxury holiday.

Our hotels want you unaware of everything on your holiday and just enjoy the leisure and entertainment. Magic Rock Gardens is ideal for families with small children. We appreciate the comments of this customer.

I liked this hotel. It is a wonderful hotel. Is well placed. The staff was very attentive and trying to solve the problems. The rooms are great, spacious and clean. The food is good but it lacks variety. We recommend it.

and told us that if there we asked to change hotel and very kindly told us to go and see if we liked we could change ……. so did the truth come to me and opened all the ghosts. ……….. …………. difference that did the necessary steps and we will not be changed after hours because we had already broken the other luggage
So I left with my children and left others to pick up your luggage, let the sad ……… good and what followed was that we had a very good, I hope that my children were happy, we were a medieval dinner included all the twins ….. them poor that if he had to spend so fatal rush, we went to theme park and good to maximize the few days we had.
I guess the Excalibur in the summer should be very lively with many activities, we saw it at night and no one was clear, was dead, but we liked a lot.
In short ROCK GARDENS in because we liked it is something special ………. cuesta.ufffffffffff that the only heavy, but worth it.

“Heart attack Hill”

We found this hotel to be very family orientated, yes it was up a steep hill but not as bad as expected. the hotel was well kept, staff were friendly and polite. Food was good and plentiful with lots of variety.
Entertainment was good, excellent dancing, medieval night was an excellent choice.
The hotel was lacking in sun umbrellas as not everyone wants to be in full sun all of the time and as usual it paid to be up early for a bed.
I was disappointed there were no balconies but the enclosure of the balconies did give you a slightly larger room and the air con worked well.
I would stay here again in the future.

The Magic Rock Gardens, Simply Good!

The Rock Gardens is situated very closed to the center of the city of Benidorm, and also near the beach. I don’t have any problem to commute because I just lived near all I  needed. My family and I were happy to enjoy our all inclusive cards because we didn’t need to spend more money, and we were very satisfied by all the services in our hotel and also in the other Magic hotels. All the hotels’ animation was very nice, there were a lot of types of game, and in the afternoons and evenings, the Magic dancers and magicians came also to give more.

“This Hotel Is Magic”, only in Benidorm.

Just got back this morning from the Magic rock Gardens hotel.
After reading the reviews since we booked the holiday in January regually, i did not know what to expect, but decided whatever the outcome of the trip was i would write a review myself.
So here goes………
The hotel is situated as everybody has said at the top of steep hill and is tiring to walk up and because of this the bar in the reception was always inviting for a nice cold drink(and busciuts for the kids my two aged 2+6 could not pass without grabbing one!!!!!).The staff were all very polite though we had a few hickups when my wife arranged a birthday suprise for me champers and a posh table the only problem was reception forgot to tell the restuarant. But even then they went and got me a nice bottle of bubbly. The food was realy good all the way through the 2 weeks with each night having a big selection of different meals(realy nice puddings). The snack bar had plenty of things to eat for the people who miss breakfast or did not want to sit in the restaurant.
The entertainment in the day i didnt come across that much as my kids were a little too young for alot of it(darts, shooting, archery etc..) but in the second week the toddlers area next to the top pool opened and i lost my 2 year old for days while he coloured and had his face painted he loved the ball pool and the entertainment team. As the last review wrote it was not ideal in the hotel for prams as you find yourself carrying it to the top pool or down to reception from the pool. Night entertainment was ok some turns were good and some not so good, dont bother with the parrot or reptile show just a con to get 10 euros for a photo out of you.”The mini disco, melissa and Eddie were brill and kept the adults and kids from getting bored. And if the entertainment team were not entertaining us we had always got “Rob ” to fall back on making roses out of napkins for all the kids and girls….(if you were there you will know who i meen).
Its really good that you can use the other hotels in the group all have there good bits(excalaber and monikas pool, villa da benidorms being near the beach for drinks).
While we were there we talked to peolple that had stopped in 3 of the other hotels(monika, villa de benidorm & crystal park) all saying that if they were to come again they would stay at the Magic Rock gardens as the food and entertainment was the best.
The biggest recomomendation i can give this hotel is we are already thinking of going back next year………………

what more: free food, beer & entertainment
the least: big hill to climb

“good place to stay”

Opinion of a costumer of Magic Rock Garden through Tripadvisor

Returned from magic rock gardens yesterday. Hotel was clean(although smell of drains from our room). Staff very friendly.Food ok but a bit repetative after a few days. My advise would be to go either bed and breakfast or half board as we ended up eating out!
Hill was ok although have stayed at this hotel before(30 years ago) more of a problem now than then!!! but take it slow and you are ok. Childrens pool was closed although not a problem for us as we onl
